Order of the Sith: Downfall is the final part in a
trilogy of fanfilms, and features Dave Prowse, Jeremy Bulloch, Michael
Sheard and Orli Shoshan.

A big HELLO to all readers of SciFi Now
magazine who have just found this site because of the interview in this
months ish! In honour of this, I've now uploaded the "Last Hope"
edition of Downfall. This has a few changes from the original release -
most notably it is now in Widescreen!!! Other changes include
'comic-book' titles on some screens, recompositing to match up eyelines,
and other stuff that frankly no-one cares about apart from me :)
Oh, and there is an extra scene which goes some way to
explaining the ending a little better - but I definitely have NOT
changed the order in which any characters shoot at each other. Shotguns
first, questions later.
So - get the Last Hope edition here: www.orderofthesith.net/images/download/Last-Hope3.wmv

It has been nearly a year since the release of Downfall,
and two since the release of Vengeance. Between the two films, we, no you,
have raised approx £12,000 (about $20,000) for Save the Children. This is a
truly phenomenal figure, and way in excess of what we originally hoped for - so
a huge thank you to all who donated, and all who took part!
This year will bring two more 'Order of the Sith' projects
- the special 'Last Hope' Edition of Downfall will be released to coincide with
the 30th anniversary of Star Wars. There will also be a book detailing the last
three years adventures, entitled 'The Fanfilm Menace'! More details to come
soon :)
*News just in - Sky Wilson from 5HeadsTall Productions has
just informed me that the interview she did with me for her 'George and Me'
documentary, is to be broadcast on US TV later this year!*

Update time! We've been extremely lucky in making contact with
a couple of avid prop collectors who very kindly came along to our last filming
day. With some original SW movie props. Which they allowed us to use in the
film..........
Quite frankly we hardly dared touch them: the value of the
Duros head is frightening....still, the chance to hold Luke's RotJ saber
(autographed by Nick Gillard too....) and hold it to the Ewok was too much to
resist. And that is a piece of Tantive IV panel from Revenge of the Sith next
to Dooku's stunt saber behind me. :)

Anyway, suffice it to say we were all overwhelmed in the
presence of such cool stuff, and stood round in a reverent circle as Grant and
Ashley the PropMasters gave us the history on each item.
The film is coming along absolutely brilliantly - I'm really
chuffed with the leap in quality between this one and Vengeance. Here's a few
screenies:

Compare those with the old shots in the screenshots section
and you'll see what I mean!
We hope to do the final day of 'major' shooting in early
December - that should leave us with only minor pickups to do afterward. So
then I have to sit in front of my PC for months on end to try and turn it all
into the best film I can!!

I'm sure most of you will have seen the news today: Michael Sheard died
earlier at the age of 65, from cancer. He was at home when it happened. My
condolences and best wishes go out to his family and friends everywhere - he
was a gifted actor and a very friendly guy. It was Michael who got the ball
rolling on the 'Original Trilogy Stars' aspect of my film - just part of plenty
of other charity work he did - and for that I will always be grateful.
R.I.P. Michael.

Went to Memorabilia in Birmingham UK yesterday, to meet and film the 4th
Star Wars cast member to join us in Downfall - Orli Shoshan!
Orli played Jedi Master Shaak Ti in Attack of the Clones and Revenge
of the Sith. She is also a fashion desginer and a model! That's right - a Jedi
Master Lingerie Model - oh yes! She is a lovely person
and it was a pleasure to meet her. I felt very lucky that she'd agreed to film
for us as she was only in the country for two days!!!!

I also met my on-screen Dad Jeremy Bulloch again - he mentioned
how he's been ribbing Michael Sheard for just reading his lines off a cue
sheet.....
Jeremy was delighted at the amount of money we've raised for
Save the Children, and I was very proud to present him with a certificate from
the charity:

2 more days of filming have come and gone...............Trooper Sunday in
particular was good fun: a huge thanks is due to everyone that turned up. A
great day was had by all - most especially by Grant (Naval Trooper outfit
below) who looked like he was having his 2nd childhood.....
And I apologise publicly for the 'cup of tea' stories....
A couple more pics for you... and hopefully I should have some exciting news
for you all soon...keep checking this space!

Downfall has started production!! Yesterday I finished the first of
many days filming, with Rachael. We had a hilarious day - it took us about 2
hours to get the 20 seconds of footage needed. Can't say it wasn't fun
though......check the pics

Next week is filming day number 2 with 3 new cast members,
although I'm keeping details of that quiet for a bit. And the Sunday after is Trooper
Sunday!!!! We'll have plenty of varying Imperials invading the studios, all
lining up to get wommed and blammed. Wom.
